Why invest in silver?
I invest in silver because silver is a unique metal that wins whether the economy is doing well or is doing bad. When the economy is in bad shape and everyone is printing money, as demonstrated by the links below, silver is an excellent hedge against inflationary or deflationary pressures:

And when the economy is doing well, then the industrial demand for silver will increase, especially with all the new (and old) ways silver is being used today. See the links below:

Any investment portfolio worth its weight in gold, no pun intended, should have a percentage of precious metal. However, due to the circumstances surrounding us today, it would appear that a portfolio heavily weighted in precious metals would not be a bad idea.

Why invest in silver?
Historically every major fiat currency such as the U.S. dollar and the British pound have self-destructed in what is popularly called hyperinflation (that is, extreme decreases in purchasing-power) caused by either unlimited increases (or printing) in the supply of that fiat money by the issuer or accelerating loss of public confidence in the continued value of the money or the economic or political fortunes of its issuer, or both.
What is Fiat money and how is it created?
Fiat money is paper money or a medium of exchange composed of some intrinsically valueless substance which the issuer does not promise to redeem in a commodity or a fiduciary money. The link below does an excellent job on how the U.S. and other governments are creating fiat money out of thin air

I got the idea of doing this video from Mark Dice, You Tube ID (TheResistance). Mark owns the copyrights to his video, “Man tries to sell $1100 one ounce gold coin for $50; no takers.” —–His video has been viewed by over 257,000 viewers on You Tube. This is a challenge I ask all of you to take. It can be as simple as taking an American Silver Eagle to your work place.

http://goldsilverdvd.com Hi folks, here is a clip of Mike and David Morgan at the press conference for Silver Summit Asia. Check out David’s site: http://www.silver-investor.com The question was “Why do you say that silver is dirt cheap?”. Some great stuff in their responses. I love David’s analogy of the birds changing direction. Anyhow, apologies for the lack of posts this past couple of weeks…we’ve been in Dallas, Phoenix and LA filming some more stuff for future productions. The gold and silver film is at the translators right now, stay tuned for news on that. Mike and I filmed the responses to the YouTube video questions today, thanks to all those that made videos. Second trailer for the film will be out on Tuesday coming. Subscribe if you’re digging this channel, welcome aboard.
